Walking
Start at the Lugano Train Station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Via della Stazione. Turn left onto Via della Stazione and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the beautiful Parco Ciani on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Nassa. Turn right onto Via Nassa, a pedestrian street lined with shops and cafes. Follow Via Nassa until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Via Cattedrale. Walk up this street, and you will soon see the Basilica of St. Giacomo on your right, located at the top of the hill.
