Walking
If you are in the central area of Lugano, start by heading towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade until you reach the end where it meets the road. Continue straight on the Via Nassa, which is a popular shopping street. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will come to the intersection with the Via Cattedrale. Turn left onto Via Cattedrale, and then follow the road until you reach the train station area. Piazza Stazione is just a short walk from there, approximately 5 minutes. Look for the signs directing you to Muralto.

Bus
From the main bus station in Lugano, take bus number 3 towards Muralto. The bus departs every 15-20 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes of travel, the bus will stop at the Muralto train station. From the bus stop, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Piazza Stazione. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if unsure.

If you are near the Lugano train station, you can take a train to Muralto. Board any train heading towards Locarno, as they all stop at Muralto within a few minutes. Once you arrive at Muralto station, exit the train and walk towards Piazza Stazione, which is a short 5-minute walk. Follow the path leading away from the train tracks and toward the main square.
