Walking
If you are starting from the Locarno train station, exit the station and head south towards the lake. You will see a path leading down to the waterfront. Continue walking straight along the lakeside promenade. The Lungolago Locarno/Muralto is along Viale Verbano. It will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk there, and you can enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Maggiore along the way.

If you are at Piazza Grande, head towards the lakeside by walking down Via delle Fosse. Turn left when you reach the waterfront and continue walking along the promenade. Follow the path until you reach Viale Verbano, where Lungolago Locarno/Muralto is located. This route will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you wish to take public transport, you can catch a bus from the Locarno bus terminal, located near the train station. Look for buses heading towards Muralto. Get off at the stop 'Muralto, Viale Verbano'. From there, it's just a short walk to Lungolago Locarno/Muralto, which is a few minutes away.
