Getting There

  • Train and Bus

    Start by taking the train from Montreux train station to Aigle. You can catch a train at Montreux station towards Aigle, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aigle, transfer to the regional train heading towards Les Diablerets. After reaching Les Diablerets, take bus number 10 towards Morzine. You will need to get off at the stop that is closest to Ski Avoriaz, which is "Avoriaz, Place du Snow". The entire journey may take around 2 hours depending on the connections.

  • Train and Walking

    From Montreux, take the train to Aigle and then switch to the train towards Morzine. Upon arrival in Morzine, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the ski resort. Make sure to follow the signs towards Avoriaz; the designated walking route is well-marked. The total travel time will be around 2 hours, including your walking time.

  • Bus

    Take a direct bus from Montreux to Morzine. Buses may not run frequently so check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Morzine, you can either walk to Ski Avoriaz or take a local shuttle bus that operates between Morzine and Avoriaz. The shuttle bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and walking will take approximately 1 hour.
