From the center of Mürren, head towards the Schilthornbahn cable car station. Follow the signs for the cable car, which is located at the eastern end of the village. Take the cable car to Piz Gloria. Once you arrive at Piz Gloria, you will have breathtaking views. From there, take the hiking trail that leads down towards the valley, following signs towards Gimmelwald. This trail will eventually lead you to the main road. Once you reach the road, follow the signs for Lauterbrunnen. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop in Lauterbrunnen, where you can take a bus to Innertkirchen. Upon arriving in Innertkirchen, follow the signs to the Stein Glacier, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.

Starting from your location in Mürren, walk to the Schilthornbahn cable car station at the eastern end of the village. Take the cable car down to Stechelberg. From Stechelberg, take the PostBus to Lauterbrunnen. Once in Lauterbrunnen, transfer to another PostBus heading towards Innertkirchen. After arriving in Innertkirchen, follow the signs to the Stein Glacier, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
