Getting There

Car
From Nendaz, head southwest on Route de Nendaz toward Route des Ecluses. Continue on Route de Nendaz until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route de la Station (Route 199). Follow signs for Sion and then Zermatt. You will merge onto the A9 motorway. After about 20 km, take exit 27 toward Sion-Est. Follow the road to the signs for Zermatt. As Zermatt is a car-free village, you will need to park in Täsch, the last point accessible by car. Once in Täsch, take the shuttle train to Zermatt (approximately 12 minutes). Upon arrival in Zermatt, walk towards Kirchpl. and follow the signs to the Matterhorn Museum, which is located at Kirchpl. 11.

Public Transportation
Start from Nendaz, and take the bus to Sion (Bus Line 181). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Sion, transfer to the train station and take the train to Zermatt (look for trains heading towards Zermatt via Visp). The train journey will take about 2 hours. After arriving in Zermatt, exit the station and walk towards Kirchplatz. The Matterhorn Museum is located at Kirchpl. 11, just a short walk from the train station. Follow the signs to the museum, and you will arrive in approximately 10 minutes.
