To reach Grünsee from Saas-Fee using public transportation, first take the local bus from the main bus station in Saas-Fee. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Zermatt, exit the bus and head towards the main street. From there, you can take a hike or a taxi towards Grünsee. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace, following the clearly marked trails to the lake.

If you are driving to Grünsee from Saas-Fee, you will first need to exit Saas-Fee and head towards the main road. Follow the signs to Zermatt. Note that Zermatt is a car-free village, so you will need to park at the designated parking area in Täsch, which is about 5 kilometers from Zermatt. Once parked, take the shuttle train or taxi from Täsch to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes. From Zermatt, you can either take a taxi directly to Grünsee or follow the hiking trails, which will take about 1 to 1.5 hours on foot.
