Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Saas-Fee, head towards the main road leading out of the village. Follow the signs for Zermatt. Once you reach the main road, walk towards the bus station located at the edge of Saas-Fee. Here, you can catch a bus to Täsch, which is the nearest point to Zermatt that can be accessed by car. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Täsch, you will need to park your car in the designated parking area, as Zermatt is a car-free village. From Täsch, take the shuttle train to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes. Once you arrive in Zermatt, head towards Kirchpl., where Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius is located. It's a short walk from the train station, just follow the main street until you reach Kirchpl. The church will be on your right.

• Public Transportation

  If you are at your accommodation in Saas-Fee, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Board the PostBus heading to Täsch. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Täsch, transfer to the shuttle train that takes you directly to Zermatt. This train ride lasts approximately 12 minutes. After arriving at Zermatt station, exit the station and walk towards the main street. Continue walking straight until you reach Kirchpl. The Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius will be located on your right side. This entire journey will take around 1.5 hours depending on waiting times.

• Car

  From Saas-Fee, drive towards the exit of the village following the signs for Zermatt. You will reach a parking area in Täsch, where you must park your car since Zermatt is a car-free zone. The parking area is well signposted. After parking, take the shuttle train from Täsch to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes. Once you arrive at Zermatt train station, head towards the main street. Walk straight ahead until you reach Kirchpl., where Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius is situated. The church will be on your right.
