Car
If you are driving, head towards Saas-Fee via the main road. Please note that Saas-Fee is a car-free village, so you will need to park your vehicle in the designated parking area at the entrance of the village. Once parked, you can either walk or take the local shuttle bus to the Alpin Express cable car station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a train to Visp, then transfer to a bus heading to Saas-Fee. Upon reaching Saas-Fee, you will need to walk to the Alpin Express cable car station, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs pointing towards the cable car station.
Cable Car
Once you reach the Alpin Express cable car station, purchase a ticket (prices vary depending on the season) and board the cable car. The ride will take you up to the Mittelallain station, which is the closest point to Eisgrotte Allalin.
Walking
After disembarking from the cable car at Mittelallain station, follow the signs directing you to Eisgrotte Allalin. The entrance to the ice grotto is a short walk from the station, approximately 5-10 minutes on foot.
