Public Transport
From Thun main train station (Thun Bahnhof), take bus number 21 towards Gwatt. The bus departs from the bus terminal right outside the train station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Gwatt, Seewinkel' stop. From there, it’s a short walk of about 10 minutes to the Beobachtungsturm Gwattlischenmoos. Head east towards Im Seewinkel street and follow the signs to the observation tower.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from Thun main train station. Walk towards the Aare river and follow the riverside path until you reach the bridge (Aarebrücke). Cross the bridge and continue straight on the path until you reach Gwatt. This walk takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once in Gwatt, head towards Im Seewinkel 17 where the observation tower is located.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near Thun Bahnhof. From the train station, cycle towards the Aare river and follow the bike path along the river. After crossing the Aarebrücke, continue towards Gwatt. The total cycling distance is approximately 6 km, and it should take around 25-30 minutes. Upon reaching Gwatt, head to Im Seewinkel 17 to find the Beobachtungsturm.
