If you're traveling by car, start from Locarno. Head east on the A13 highway towards Bellinzona. After approximately 35 km, take the exit for Cevio. After exiting, follow the signs for Foroglio. The drive will take you through picturesque mountain landscapes. Once you reach Foroglio, look for parking options near the village. There's a small parking area (note: parking fees may apply). From the parking area, follow the walking path that leads to the Cascata di Foroglio, which is about a 15-minute hike.

Public Transportation
To reach Cascata di Foroglio via public transportation, start your journey at the Locarno train station. Take the train towards Domodossola and get off at the Cevio station. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Cevio, you will need to catch a post bus (line 316) that goes to Foroglio. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Foroglio, you can follow the marked hiking trail to the Cascata di Foroglio, approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you're already in Cevio and prefer to hike, you can walk from the village to Foroglio. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The hike will take about 1 hour and is moderately difficult. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water, as the trail can be steep at times. Once you reach Foroglio, follow the signs leading to the Cascata di Foroglio.
