Car
If you are driving, take the A2 motorway towards Bellinzona. Exit at 'Bellinzona Nord' and follow signs for the A13 towards Locarno. Continue on A13 until you reach the exit for Cevio (exit 5). Follow the signs to Cevio. Once in Cevio, park at the designated parking area near the village center (parking may require a fee). From there, follow the signs for the hiking trail to Cascata Grande di Bignasco.

Train and Bus
From any major city in Ticino (like Lugano or Bellinzona), take a train to Cevio. The train schedule can be checked on the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) website. Upon arriving at Cevio train station, transfer to bus line 315 towards 'Cevio, Paese'. Get off at the 'Cevio, Paese' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 20 minutes to reach the base of the Cascata Grande di Bignasco, following the marked hiking trail.

Once you have parked your car or arrived by bus in Cevio, you will find the trailhead for the Cascata Grande di Bignasco located near the village. The trail is well-marked and takes about 30-45 minutes to hike one way, depending on your pace. It is recommended to wear sturdy shoes and carry water. The hike is relatively easy but does have some steep sections.
