Once you reach Sonogno, look for Strada de Redòrta. The final approach to Cascata La Froda is from Strada de Redòrta 36-106. There is limited parking available near the waterfall, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Cascata La Froda via public transportation, first take a train to Locarno or a nearby city with train service. From Locarno, take a bus towards Sonogno. Bus lines may vary, so check the current schedules on the Swiss public transport website. The bus will drop you off in Sonogno. From the bus stop, walk towards Strada de Redòrta, where you can find the waterfall at Strada de Redòrta 36-106. Be aware that you might need to walk a short distance uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.
