To reach Schloss Heidegg by car from any location in Uri, first make your way to the A2 motorway. From the center of Uri, head towards the A2 entrance located near the station area. Merge onto the A2 heading north towards Lucerne. After approximately 25 kilometers, take exit 39-Gelfingen. Follow the signs for Gelfingen and continue on the main road. After about 5 minutes, you will arrive at Heidegg 3, Gelfingen. You can park your car in the nearby parking area.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from Uri to Lucerne. Board a train heading to Lucerne at the Uri train station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Lucerne, transfer to a train heading towards the direction of Zofingen. Disembark at the Gelfingen station, which is about a 10-minute walk from Schloss Heidegg. Follow the signs towards Gelfingen village and continue to Heidegg 3. Be sure to check the local train schedules for the most accurate timings.
