From Uri, drive south on the A2 motorway towards the Gotthard Pass. Take exit 42 for Göschenen, and follow the signs towards Gadmen (3863). Continue on the main road until you reach Gadmen. Park your car in one of the designated parking areas near the Triftsee trailhead. Note that parking fees may apply.

Start by taking a train from Uri to Meiringen. The journey might require a change at Brienz or another nearby station. Once in Meiringen, you can catch a bus heading to Gadmen. The bus will take you close to the Triftsee trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as these may not run frequently.

From the trailhead at Triftsee, follow the marked hiking paths that lead to Triftbrücke. The hike is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on your pace.
