Car
From Verbier, head northeast on Route de Verbier towards Route de la Vallée. Continue on Route de la Vallée to Route de Riddes. Follow signs to the A21 motorway. Merge onto A21 and take the exit towards A9/E62 in the direction of Sion. Continue on A9 for about 27 km and take the exit towards Zermatt. Follow the signs to Zermatt, and park at the designated parking area. Note that Zermatt is a car-free village, so you will need to take a train or taxi from the parking area to reach your final destination.

From Verbier, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the PostBus towards Le Châble. At Le Châble, transfer to the train heading to Zermatt. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Zermatt, follow the signs to the main street and head towards the lake area, where Grünsee is located. It’s a short walk from the train station to the lake.
