If you are near the Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the river. Walk straight along the Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world's most famous shopping streets. Continue until you reach Paradeplatz, a large square. From Paradeplatz, turn left onto Talstrasse, which will lead you to the Limmat river. Cross the river at the next bridge, and you will see the meeting point for Free Walking Tours Zurich at the corner of the riverbank, near the Old Town.

If you're starting from a central location like the Lindenhof, walk to the nearest tram stop and board the tram heading towards the city center.
