Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head to the city center of Dar es Salaam. From there, take Nyerere Road heading southeast towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Nelson Mandela Road, and turn left. Follow Nelson Mandela Road until you reach the intersection with Sam Nujoma Road. Turn right onto Sam Nujoma Road, which will take you directly to Kibo Beach. Look for signs indicating the beach area as you approach the coast. Keep in mind that parking may be available near the beach, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
