Public Bus
From the city center of Dar es Salaam, head to the main bus terminal known as 'Ubungo Bus Terminal'. You can take a Dala Dala (local minibus) heading towards 'Kisarawe' or 'Pugu'. Make sure to ask the conductor to confirm it goes to Pugu Hills. The fare should be around TZS 400-600. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off when the bus reaches Kisarawe Road.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
Once you arrive at Kisarawe Road, you can find several Boda Boda (motorbike taxis) available. Negotiate the fare before starting your ride to Pugu Hills Nature Forest. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes and cost around TZS 1500-3000. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pugu Hills Nature Forest.

If you prefer to walk from where the Dala Dala drops you off, head along Kisarawe Road. Follow the road heading towards the direction of the forest. It's a scenic route, but be prepared as it might take around 1-1.5 hours to reach the entrance of Pugu Hills Nature Forest on foot.
