Car
If you are driving from Iringa town, take the A104 road heading southeast. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will see signposts for the Isimila Stone Age site. Follow the signs to the site, which is located just off the road. The site is about a 30-minute drive from Iringa town. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
From Iringa, take a daladala (minibus taxi) heading towards Mseke. The trip should cost around 2,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings) and will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Isimila Stone Age site. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point, from where you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of the site.
Walking
Once you arrive at the drop-off point from the daladala, follow the dirt path towards the site. There will be signs directing you to the entrance. The walk is about 1 kilometer, and it's advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.
