From the center of Kigoma, head towards the main road (Kigoma-Mpanda Road). Walk north along the road until you reach the junction at the bus station. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk. At the junction, take the road leading to Kasekera. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the village of Kasekera. Follow the signs for Kakombe Waterfall or ask locals for directions, as they will be familiar with the route.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kigoma. Start your ride on Kigoma-Mpanda Road heading north. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the bus station junction. Here, take the road towards Kasekera. Cycling along this road will take around 30-40 minutes. Look out for signs to Kakombe Waterfall. It's advisable to ask locals for the best path as you approach the waterfall, as some paths may be less clear.

Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
Hail a motorcycle taxi (Boda Boda) from anywhere in Kigoma. Inform the driver you want to go to Kakombe Waterfall and direct them to the Kasekera road. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. Upon reaching Kasekera, you can either be dropped off close to the waterfall or ask the driver to take you as near as possible. Locals can guide you the rest of the way.
