Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach African Trek & Travel is to navigate to the coordinates (Latitude: -3.3428622, Longitude: 37.3409563). From Moshi, take the A23 road towards Arusha. Continue for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction for the Machame route. Turn onto the road leading towards Machame village and follow the signs. The tour operator is located near the Machame entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a dala-dala (minibus) from Moshi to Machame. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS. Inform the driver you are heading to the Machame route. Once you arrive in Machame village, you can either walk or take a taxi to the African Trek & Travel office, which is a short distance away from the main road. The taxi fare should not exceed 5,000 TZS.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct and comfortable method, you can hire a taxi from any location in the Kilimanjaro region.
