If you are traveling by car, you can rent a vehicle from any major city in the Kilimanjaro region. From Moshi, take the A23 road heading south towards Shanty Town. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the B1 road. Turn right onto B1 and proceed for about 2 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Young Lion Safaris, which will be on your left. Make sure to have a GPS or a mobile map application handy for accurate navigation.

For a more local experience, you can hire a taxi from any location in Moshi. Provide the driver with the destination: Young Lion Safaris in Shanty Town. The fare should be around 20,000 to 30,000 TZS depending on traffic conditions. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand if the taxi does not have a meter.

You can take a local daladala (minibus) from Moshi to Shanty Town. Head to the Moshi bus terminal and look for the daladala that goes to Shanty Town. The fare is typically around 1,000 TZS. Once you arrive in Shanty Town, ask locals for directions to Young Lion Safaris, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the daladala stop.

If you are already in Shanty Town, you can walk to Young Lion Safaris. From the center of Shanty Town, head south on the main road for about 1 kilometer.
