In Karatu, take the B144 road north towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers, until you see signs for Ngorongoro Entrance Gate. The entrance is located at Malanja Depression along an unnamed road. Be aware that there is an entrance fee to access the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which varies depending on your nationality and the type of vehicle you are using. Keep local currency ready for this fee.
