If you are driving from a location within the Ngorongoro Highlands, take the road leading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. To reach Ngorongoro Crater by public transportation, first, take a daladala (shared minibus) from your location in the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu town.
