Walking
Start your journey from the Mbeya city center, specifically from the Mbeya Railway Station. Head northwest on the main road, which is known as Iwambi Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Mbezi Street. Turn left onto Mbezi Street and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nzovwe Road. Continue walking along Nzovwe Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and small eateries along the way. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, look for signs directing you to Daraja la Nzovwe. The destination will be on your right, just past a small clearing in the trees.
Bicycle rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mbeya city center. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the Mbeya Railway Station and follow the same route as mentioned for walking. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. After reaching the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nzovwe Road and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Daraja la Nzovwe, and you will find it on your right, just after a small clearing in the trees.
Public Transport
From the Mbeya city center, head towards the main bus station located near the Mbeya Railway Station. Look for daladalas (local minibuses) heading towards Nzovwe. Board one of these daladalas and inform the conductor of your destination, Daraja la Nzovwe. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nzovwe area, disembark and follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Daraja la Nzovwe, which is just a short walk away.
