Walking
From the Mbeya city center, head towards the Mbeya Bus Terminal. Once you reach the terminal, look for signs directing you to Iyunga. Walk along the main road towards Iyunga, which is about 3 kilometers away. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way, which can provide a good break if needed. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at Iyunga. At the junction, turn left and continue walking for another kilometer. You will see a sign for Mashamba ya MUST, which is located on your right. The area is a garden and is known for its scenic views and peaceful atmosphere.
Public Transport (Dala Dala)
From the Mbeya city center, go to the main dala dala (minibus) station located near the Mbeya Bus Terminal. Look for a dala dala heading to Iyunga; these are usually marked with their destination. The fare is quite affordable, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Iyunga junction. Once you get off, walk about 1 kilometer down the road, and you will find Mashamba ya MUST on your right. Follow the signs along the way for easier navigation.
Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mbeya city center. Start your journey towards Iyunga by cycling along the main road. This distance is approximately 4 kilometers, and it takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching the Iyunga junction, take a left and continue cycling for about another kilometer. You will arrive at Mashamba ya MUST on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules for safety.
