Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mwanjelwa, head south towards the main road (A104). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and small eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the Mzumbe Garden sign on your left, which should be around 3CRW+4C5, A104. The garden entrance is just off the main road.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can cover the distance to Mzumbe Garden more quickly. Start from the Mwanjelwa market area and bike south towards the A104 road. Maintain a straight path for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see Mzumbe Garden on your left. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules while biking.

  • Public Transport (Dala Dala)

    Take a Dala Dala (local minibus) from Mwanjelwa to Mbeya city center. Look for a Dala Dala heading towards A104. The fare should be around 500 TZS. Once you reach the city center, disembark and walk back along the A104 for about 1 kilometer until you see Mzumbe Garden on your left. Be prepared for a short walk after exiting the Dala Dala.
