Walking
Start from the Mbeya city center. Head south on the main road, Njiro Road. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection at the Mbeya Market. From there, turn left onto Mbozi Road. Continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for local landmarks to help with navigation. When you reach the junction with the signs indicating 'Cross Of The Summit' and 'Hiking Area', turn right. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to the hiking area on your left. Follow the trail signs leading towards Cross Of The Summit.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mbeya city center. Start your journey by heading south on Njiro Road. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto Mbozi Road. Cycle for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the sights along the way. When you reach the junction that indicates 'Cross Of The Summit', turn right. Continue on this road for another kilometer until you reach the entrance to the hiking area. Secure your bicycle and follow the designated trails to reach Cross Of The Summit.
Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
Find a nearby Boda Boda station in Mbeya city center. Inform the rider that you are going to Cross Of The Summit. They will take you along Njiro Road, where you will drive for about 1 kilometer. They will then turn left onto Mbozi Road and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye on the landmarks to ensure you are on the right path. Once you reach the 'Cross Of The Summit' junction, you will turn right. After about 1 kilometer, the driver will drop you off at the entrance of the hiking area. From there, follow the trails leading to Cross Of The Summit.
