If you're driving from the Ngorongoro Crater entrance, head east on the main road. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction toward Malanja Depression, marked with local signage. Take the right fork and follow the road for another 8 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs to Massai Dorf. The village is located at coordinates RFXF+VV2, which you can enter into your GPS for precise navigation.

From Ngorongoro Crater, you can take a dala-dala (local minibus) heading towards Karatu. Get off at the Malanja Depression stop. The fare is approximately 3,000 TZS. Once you alight, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guide to take you to Massai Dorf, which is about a 15-minute drive away. Ensure you agree on a fare before the journey, usually around 10,000 TZS.

If you prefer to walk from the Malanja Depression area, it is about a 5-kilometer trek to Massai Dorf. Start from the main road and follow the path leading towards the village.
