If you're traveling by car, start from Arusha. Head southwest on the A104 road towards Mto wa Mbu. After about 100 kilometers (approximately 1.5 hours), you will reach a junction near Mto wa Mbu. Take the B144 road and follow the signs towards Lake Manyara National Park. Keep driving for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Lake Manyara Viewpoint, which will be on your right. Parking is available at the viewpoint, but be mindful of any parking fees.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Arusha to Mto wa Mbu. The journey typically takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Mto wa Mbu, you will need to hire a taxi or a motorcycle taxi (commonly known as a 'pikipiki') to take you to the Lake Manyara Viewpoint.
