From Ruaha National Park, take the main road towards Iringa and head northwest. Follow the signs for the A7 road, which will lead you towards Mwanza. The journey will take approximately 7-8 hours. Upon reaching Mwanza, follow the signs to the city center and then to the Saanane National Park entrance located at FV4Q+HRJ. Be sure to refuel your vehicle and stock up on supplies before leaving Ruaha, as services may be limited along the route.

Public Transportation
From Ruaha National Park, you will need to travel to Iringa first. You can take a local bus from Ruaha to Iringa, which takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Iringa, catch a bus to Mwanza. The bus journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on the road conditions. Once you arrive in Mwanza, you can take a taxi or a local daladala (minibus) to Saanane National Park at FV4Q+HRJ. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, consider hiring a taxi from Mwanza city center to Saanane National Park. This trip will take around 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic.
