Walking
From the center of Stone Town, head towards the beach. Walk along the main road, Mizingani Road, towards the north until you reach the Forodhani Gardens. Continue walking along the beach path until you reach the end of Stone Town. Once you reach the end of the beach, look for signs directing you to Paje. The walk is approximately 5 km, and it should take about 1 hour. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stone Town. Start at the Old Fort of Zanzibar and head east along the coast. Follow the beach road until you arrive at Paje. Make sure to keep your bicycle on the designated paths when available. The ride is about 5 km long and should take roughly 30 minutes, depending on your pace.

To get to Paje via public transport, walk to the main bus station in Stone Town, located near the Darajani Market. Look for a 'Daladala' (local minibus) heading to Paje.
