If you are traveling by car, start from Dodoma, the capital of Central Zone. Head east on the A7 road towards Morogoro. Continue on the A7 until you reach the junction with the A19. Take the A19 south towards Dar es Salaam. As you approach Dar es Salaam, follow the signs for the ferry to Zanzibar. Once in Dar es Salaam, you can either book a ferry ticket to Zanzibar or opt for a flight from Julius Nyerere International Airport to Zanzibar International Airport. The ferry ride takes approximately 2 hours and costs around 35,000 TZS for a standard ticket. Upon arriving in Zanzibar, take a taxi or pre-arranged transport to Paje, which is roughly a 50-minute drive. Ensure to have cash available for taxi fares and any potential entrance fees.
