If you are driving from Stone Town, take the B2 road heading southeast towards Paje. The journey is approximately 50 kilometers and takes about 1 hour. Once you reach Paje, look for signs directing you to the beach area. Maalum is located near the beach and is easily identifiable by its vibrant entrance. You can park in the designated parking areas nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Maalum by public transport, you can take a 'dala-dala' (local minibus) from Stone Town to Paje. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Paje, get off at the main stop near the beach. From there, walk towards the beach area and follow the signs to Maalum. It’s a short 5-minute walk from the main road to the entrance of Maalum.
