    If you are starting from Tanga's central market (Soko la Tanga), exit the market and head south on Bango Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Uhuru Street. Turn left onto Uhuru Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Mzizima Road. At this intersection, turn right onto Mzizima Road and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various local shops and a few eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Forodhani. After approximately 800 meters, you will see the entrance to Forodhani on your left, located at W4H2+XG4.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Tanga waterfront. Start at the waterfront and head towards the main road (Uhuru Street). Follow Uhuru Street south until you reach Mzizima Road. Turn right onto Mzizima Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Forodhani will be on your left at W4H2+XG4. Be cautious of pedestrians and traffic while cycling.

    To reach Forodhani via daladala (local minibus), head to the nearest daladala stop, which is usually near the central market. Look for a daladala heading towards Mzizima. The fare is usually quite low (around TZS 500). Once you get on, inform the conductor that you want to stop at Forodhani. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, disembark at the closest stop to Forodhani and walk about 5 minutes; you will find it at W4H2+XG4.
