Getting There

Dalla Dalla (Public Minibus)
From Zanzibar City, head to the main Dalla Dalla terminal located near the Darajani Market. Look for the Dalla Dalla heading towards Kizimkazi or Michamvi. The fare is usually very affordable (around 1,500 TZS). Once you board, stay alert for stops as the Dalla Dalla will pick up and drop off passengers along the route. You will need to tell the conductor that you are going to Michamvi Beach. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. The Dalla Dalla will drop you off in Michamvi Kae, from where you can walk to the beach.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi (Bajaji or Bodaboda) from anywhere in Zanzibar City. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Michamvi Beach.
