Walking
If you are in the Stone Town area, head east towards the Forodhani Gardens. Once you reach the waterfront, continue along the coast on the Nkurumah Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Rd. Turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Rd and continue straight for about 500 meters. Jamhuri Gardens will be on your right, marked by its entrance.

From the Darajani Market, exit the market and head south on Mkunazini Street until you reach the junction with Nkurumah Road. Turn left and walk along Nkurumah Road for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Rd, take a right and walk for another 500 meters. Jamhuri Gardens will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Stone Town. Start at the Old Fort and ride east along the coastline on Nkurumah Road. This route is scenic and will take you past the Forodhani Gardens. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Rd. Jamhuri Gardens will be approximately 500 meters ahead on your right.

Public Transport (Dala Dala)
To take a Dala Dala (local minibus) to Jamhuri Gardens, head to the Dala Dala station near the Old Fort. Look for a Dala Dala heading to Ng'ambo. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Jamhuri Gardens. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. When you reach your stop, exit the Dala Dala and walk towards Benjamin Mkapa Rd; the entrance to Jamhuri Gardens will be nearby.
