Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar. Take the A1 road heading southeast towards Paje. After approximately 45 minutes of driving, you will reach Paje. At the roundabout in Paje, take the second exit onto the Unnamed Road towards Dongwe. Continue driving for another 15 minutes until you reach the Blue Lagoon, located at RGJJ+2RW, Unnamed Road, Dongwe. There is no entry fee, but make sure to have local currency for any refreshments or activities you might want to enjoy.

Public Transportation
To reach Blue Lagoon using public transportation, begin your journey at the main bus terminal in Stone Town. Look for a daladala (local minibus) heading to Paje. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). The ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Paje, you can either walk or take a taxi to Dongwe, which is approximately 3 km away. Taxis are available at Paje, and the fare to Dongwe should not exceed 10,000 TZS. Once in Dongwe, ask locals for directions to RGJJ+2RW, Unnamed Road, where Blue Lagoon is located.
