Getting There

• Walking

  From the heart of Downtown Chattanooga, start at the Chattanooga Riverfront Park located at 201 Riverfront Parkway. Head east along the Riverwalk, a scenic path that runs parallel to the river. Continue walking along the path for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Walnut Street Bridge. This bridge is a beautiful pedestrian bridge that spans the Tennessee River and connects you to the North Shore. There are no fees for crossing the bridge, and it offers stunning views of the river and downtown skyline.

  If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Downtown Chattanooga, such as Bike Chattanooga. Locate a nearby bike station, rent a bike, and ride towards the Riverwalk. Follow the same route as the walking path, heading east along the Riverwalk for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at Walnut Street Bridge.
