Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Southside Historic District, start at the corner of 4th Street and Market Street. Head south on 4th Street until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. You will pass various shops and eateries along the way. Once you reach the intersection with E Main Street, continue straight. The Cherokee 'Water Lizard' cabin will be on your left at 136P A, #001. It's a short walk of approximately 10-15 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the nearby bike-sharing stations in the Southside Historic District. Start at the bike station closest to you and head south on 4th Street. After a short ride, take a left onto Broad Street and continue for about 0.3 miles. As you approach E Main Street, the Cherokee 'Water Lizard' cabin will be on your left at 136P A, #001. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow bike safety rules.

• Public Transportation

  You can take the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus to reach the Cherokee 'Water Lizard' cabin. Find the nearest bus stop in the Southside Historic District and board the bus that heads towards Downtown Chattanooga. Ensure to check the bus schedule for times and routes. Once you get off at the nearest stop to E Main Street, it's a short walk to 136P A, #001. Note that bus fares may apply, typically around $1.50 for a single ride.
