    From the center of Gatlinburg, head east on Parkway toward US-441 N. Continue straight for about 4.5 miles. Look for the signs for the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center, which will be on your right at 123 Cromwell Dr, Townsend, TN 37882. The center is located just before the entrance to Townsend.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Gatlinburg Trolley Station located at 1000 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg, TN. Board the 'Green Route' trolley towards the 'Gatlinburg Welcome Center'. Once you reach the welcome center, transfer to the 'Cades Cove' trolley. This will take you towards Townsend. Get off at the stop nearest to the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center. From there, it's a short walk to 123 Cromwell Dr.
