Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any point within Great Smoky Mountains National Park and head towards Gatlinburg. Use US-441 S (Newfound Gap Road) towards Gatlinburg. Once you arrive in Gatlinburg, follow signs for Ski Mountain Road. Turn onto Ski Mountain Road, and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Ober Mountain located at 1339 Ski Mountain Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. There is a parking fee of approximately $5 for the day.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Gatlinburg Trolley from various locations within the park. Look for the trolley route that goes to Ober Gatlinburg. The ride is about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The trolley fare is approximately $2 per ride. Once you arrive at the Ober Gatlinburg Station, you can enjoy the tram ride up to Ober Mountain.

After arriving at the Ober Gatlinburg Station via the trolley or your car, you can take the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway. This tram ride takes you directly to the top of Ober Mountain, offering stunning views of the Smokies. The cost for the tram is about $15 for a round trip.
