Getting There

    From the Sugarlands Visitor Center in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, head southeast on US-441 S (Newfound Gap Road) towards Gatlinburg. Follow US-441 S for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with US-19. Turn left onto US-19 S and continue driving for about 16 miles. Soco Falls will be on your right, just past the intersection with Soco Road. There is a small parking area available.

    If you are starting from Cades Cove, take the Cades Cove Loop Road and exit onto Laurel Creek Road. Turn left onto US-441 N (Newfound Gap Road) and drive for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with US-19. Turn right onto US-19 S and continue for about 16 miles. Soco Falls will be on your right after the intersection with Soco Road.

    There are limited public transportation options within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The nearest public transport is available in Gatlinburg. From Gatlinburg, you can take a Greyhound or local shuttle service to Maggie Valley. Once in Maggie Valley, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Soco Falls, which is located along US-19. The falls are approximately 5 miles from the center of Maggie Valley.
