Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Gatlinburg, TN. Head east on US-441 S (also known as Parkway) for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto the main entrance road for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Newfound Gap Road). Continue for about 3.5 miles until you reach the Rainbow Falls Trailhead, which is located on the right side of the road. There is a small parking area available at the trailhead. Please note that parking may fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist season.

Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can take the Gatlinburg Trolley to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. From there, it's approximately a 5-mile walk to the Rainbow Falls Trailhead. Follow the signs for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and you will eventually reach the trailhead on Newfound Gap Road. Please ensure you have comfortable walking shoes, as the route may involve uneven terrain and roadside walking.
