Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Gatlinburg, TN. From the center of Gatlinburg, take US-441 S (also known as the Parkway) and follow the signs for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After entering the park, continue on US-441 for approximately 2 miles until you reach the traffic light at the Sugarlands Visitor Center. Turn right onto Laurel Creek Road (follow signs for Cades Cove). Continue for about 3.5 miles until you reach the Rainbow Falls Trailhead parking area on your left. Please note that parking may fill up quickly during peak seasons, so it is advisable to arrive early.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take the Gatlinburg Trolley to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. Check the trolley schedule for the most current times and routes.
