    If you're driving from Gatlinburg, take US-441 North towards Cherokee, North Carolina. Continue on US-441 for about 30 miles until you reach the turnoff for Newfound Gap Road. Follow Newfound Gap Road for approximately 10 miles until you see signs for Clingmans Dome Road, which will be on your left. Follow Clingmans Dome Road for about 7 miles, which will take you directly to the Clingmans Dome parking area. From the parking lot, it's a short walk to the observation tower at Kuwohi, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
