Start at the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) station near the Old City area. Board the KAT route 12 bus heading towards South Knoxville. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Gay Street and Cumberland Avenue. From there, transfer to the KAT route 14 bus towards South Knoxville. It will take about 15 minutes to arrive at the stop closest to Fort Dickerson Quarry, which is near the intersection of Augusta Avenue and Wimpole Avenue.
