Shuttle
To reach the Sugarlands Visitor Center from the center of Pigeon Forge, you can utilize the local shuttle service. Start by walking to the nearest shuttle stop, which can usually be found along the main Parkway. Look for the stop identified with a sign indicating the shuttle route to Gatlinburg. Once on board, inform the driver that you are heading to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. The shuttle will take you directly to Gatlinburg, where you will need to get off at the stop closest to the Visitor Center. From there, it's a short walk along Fighting Creek Gap Road to reach your destination.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 'Sugarlands Visitor Center' or enter the address '1420 Fighting Creek Gap Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738' in the app. The driver will take you directly to the Visitor Center. This option is particularly convenient if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk to the Sugarlands Visitor Center from Pigeon Forge. Start on the Parkway headed towards Gatlinburg. You will want to follow the paved walking paths that lead directly to Gatlinburg. Once you arrive in Gatlinburg, continue to follow the signs towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Visitor Center is approximately 1.5 miles from the Gatlinburg Strip and is located on Fighting Creek Gap Road. Please be mindful of traffic and stay on designated walking paths.
