Turn right on S 14th Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Lake Kirby Park on your left at 5650 Maple St. Follow the path into the park, and you will find the Nature Play Area.

    From the Abilene Public Library, take the bus route 1 (North) towards the Mall. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at S 14th Street and Maple St. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance. Cross Maple St, and you will find Lake Kirby Park at 5650 Maple St. Follow the signs within the park to reach the Nature Play Area.

    If you have a bike, start at the Abilene Zoo. Head east on E Ambler Ave until you reach S 14th Street. Turn left onto S 14th Street and continue for about 1 mile, then turn left on Maple St. The entrance to Lake Kirby Park will be on your right at 5650 Maple St. Once inside, you can bike around the trails to reach the Nature Play Area.
